Venice bans cruise ships from historic centre after years of local rage at giant vessels
VENICE has gone through with a cruise ship ban after many years of protesting by residents against the giant vessels which clog the lagoon. Italy’s government approved the new decree against cruises in Venice’s historic centre last night.
