NEGATIVE interest rates are in the Bank of England’s “toolbox”, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey confirmed in August 2020. The Bank Rate is being held at 0.1 percent, it was confirmed today, however there has been an update following a consultation regarding negative interest rates.
