Israel closes Gaza border crossing to deter violence ahead of planned anti-Israel protests
ISRAEL announced on Sunday it was closing the only operating crossing for people to travel between Israel and the Gaza Strip, a spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Affairs Ministry said.
