DEPARTMENT FOR WORK AND PENSIONS investigators are to check bank accounts and social media profiles for clues regarding benefits fraud which they think could have taken place. Furthermore, the DWP is to contact thousands of people who are believed to have been overpaid benefits during the pandemic before the end of this year.
