The pound euro exchange rate struck a fresh two-year low yesterday as the euro was bolstered by US dollar weakness. However, GBP/EUR has recovered 0.6 percent today to trade in the region of €1.087. The euro shed some of yesterday’s impressive gains this morning despite German factory orders data coming in slightly stronger than forecast.
