Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg recently sat down with Nina Totenberg at Sundance to discuss her career, her life, and an upcoming film about her. As part of the discussion, Totenberg asked what Ginsburg thought about her periodic portrayal by Kate McKinnon on Saturday Night Live. “I liked the actress who portrayed me,” Ginsburg said, “and I would like to say ‘Gins-Burn’ sometimes to my colleagues.” Hearing RBG imitate McKinnon’s signature drawl is exactly the smile I needed today. • Illustrator and cartoonist Joamette Gil has put together a list of everyone who has ever been nominated for the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame. She calculated that, of the 212 total people who’ve been nominated so far, only 18 have been women, of which 3 were women of color. You can see the names of the inductees and nominees at her website.
• Hot Toys has a new figure of Henry Cavill’s Superman from Justice League., and his eyes light up with terrifying red LEDs to simulate heat vision. (via Nerdist)
• Disney has chosen Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, director of 28 Weeks Later, to direct its live-action remake of The Sword in the Stone. So that cheery, colorful cartoon you remember might be gettin’ real gritty this time around. (via /Film)
