CONCERNED savers are racing to top up their pension pots “while they still can” ahead of Chancellor Philip Hammond’s budget next week, according to Zurich. In a move that shows investors are “clearly worried” of a further reduction to the annual allowance, the insurance firm recorded double the average amount of cash being stashed into pensions in September, compared to the annual average.
